Default 04.5 500 hot leg

I bought a 04.5 500 and really like it, plenty of pewer, good ride, however there is a lot of heat coming from the right side around my foot. I read a thread the other day on this topic and one of the replies was to wear boots. I live in Georgia and there are a lot of times during the summer when I ride with shorts on, It is going to be extremely uncomfortable. Also there is a thread concerning the throttle cable, hopefully there will be a recall to address these issues.

I had the same problem. After a couple of tries, I found some thinner camo pants. Not sure where I got them, but they are comfortable and cool.

hot right leg is normal.

my '01 SP500 did the same thing. i used to ride with shorts, socks, and sneekers and that right leg would get pumped with heat! LOL
