will a tb 400 with hpd full exhaust, clutck fit ,and air fliter keep up with a 250 r with a fmf full exhaust.

 

it might be a close race,not to sure..

 

If you don't have any port work on the 400,the 250R will beat it pretty easy.

 

IMO the TB will have its hands full..... Good Luck !

 

with the 250r being half the weight and twice the 'get up and go' the TB doesnt have much of a chance.

 

I've beat a 250r in a race but couldn't do without the porting.

 

I raced a real hot 250 on alky, with my race mod. Got my wig split. But it was only 150 feet dirt. --Excuses excuses.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

I've beat most 250r's that ive raced with the mods that i have. I've never lost to an R with just a pipe but i have lost to some that our ported but ive also beat some ported ones. keep in mind this is on flat ground on the hills I'm barely ahead of a stock one.

If you look at my pic's in one of them that's a 250R with a 295 kit.I was still on race fuel.I think #12
