Ive ridden Quads before but would it be better to buy new or used for a first bike, Ive never ridden clutch and I am getting either a 400ex,300ex, or warrior, thanks, also how much cheaper is a new back-year model?

for a first, I'd get a used quad. You can get an idea of what it is like and then if you decide to stick with it, you can sell it and go for something bigger and more powerful (if you want). Clutch isn't that bad--just take your time and you'll get used to it. A warrior is also what I got used to a clutch on

It is cheaper to buy used....BUT...... be careful. There are alot of used bikes out there that have been beat on pretty good. Just make sure you go over a used bike really well before you buy. Check the oil and air filter, if they're really dirty, then chances are, that regular maintenance on the quad, may have been lacking. Check the frame for cracks. Take someone with you that has experience with ATVs. Ask lots of questions.

You couldn't go wrong with either a 400EXor a warrior. They are both reliable quads. There seems to be several for sale in the auto traders around here. I'd try to get one thats close to stock. That way you won't end up with someone elses problems.
