I just went on my first real ride since installing the silencer. It was like I was on a totally different machine. At times where I usually would have downshifted, I could muscle through without any difficulty. The low and mid end performance gains were really surprising. The silencer is much louder than I expected. I've heard that when the Power Bomb is installed it should quiet down a lot. So as soon as it comes in I'll find out. Everyone wanted me to post my results, so there you go.

Have you heard any of the other pipes (LRD,BIG-GUN,AND MOST OTHERS) on the 400ex? If so, how does the sound compare? Thanks!

The only other pipe I have experience with on the 400EX is the FMF MegaMax II. The Power Core is noticably louder. Sounds healthier too.

Hummm..Sweeet ain't it... I have had mine for a few months now and it runs great... Just got off the phone with Brody at FMF and the Powerbomb should (i hope0 be shipping this week. I have had mine on order for 4 months. As for the powerbomb quieting it down.. Ya it will but NOT that much... Kinda sounds like a Harley huh??
