I have just completed the winch mount for the Rubicon and i can honestly say it is very unique and will be available to those that are interested in one. What i have fabricated is made of 3/16 steel plate, and is designed for the Warn 2500 winch. Your winch will sit horizontal under your radiator, and will be behind the high impact plastic bumper. A standard roller fair lead is included because it also has to be slightly grounded on the lower edges to accomodate the plastic guard. Also your Plastic guard has to be slightly modified to accomodate the roller fairlead. This is a simple cut in the plastic Some winch mount designs have the winch mounted upside down hanging from the front guard struts,my design is horizontal and is fastened to the lower main frame of your machine with four u-bolts. Also included is a centered anchor point with a six inch cable with heavy duty crimped ends designed for a forward pull when needed. Will post pics Happy riding.

I'm interested. How about those pics, and a price? Also, does it cut down on air flow to the radiator?

Yes to your question as to will this mount satisfy a smaller winch, pictures are soon to be viewed. We have tested this application to the maxium and it worked flawless. A winch is a must in the extreme conditions that we put out machines through and builds confidence in solo journeys. Later, Kewl
