extended a arms and axle with some zps shocks is the way to go

lowering kits and spacers are cheap and will break if you push them. No jumping on either or you will be in for repairs.

Lowering kits run about 70 bucks. They will make it more stable, but at the loss of quality and reliability. Not to mention function.

shocks and a-arms are the best but also the most expensive
lowering kits are great on the raptor, your not suppposed to jump with it because of the stress on the mounts but if you slip a piece of 1/4 aluminum from mount to mount just behind radiator you will be ok ive been jumping with mine for awhile now and have had no probs. also you can flip the rear linkage
and this will drop the quad a couple of inches

Default raptor lowering kit

Just seen some today at craycraft racings website. They are going for 40.00 plus shipping that I see.

As far as I can tell it makes it ride lower to the ground so that is much easier I would think to handle and yes you can not jump with them.

The problem isnt that the kit brackets themselves are weak, its the strain they put on the front shock mounts or a arms that is the problem.

All the lowering blocks I have seen are made of aluminum. How are you going to weld those to steel a-arms?

Either spend the money to do it right or keep it stock until you have saved enough pennies to do it right.

Lowering kits are only for flat riding and racing, eg. ice racing, grass racing, TT, drags, duning (no jumps), oval track, etc.
