It's not about what the resale value is worth and comparing penny differences since both are worth about the same, think more if you want the 2 stroke ride or 4 stroke ride, that all depends how hard core you want to be. I took a 2 grand lose on my 2003 686 LE Raptor with +3 a-arms, works shocks, CrayCraft Porting and lots of the goodies, all for a bone stock 2004 Banshee and I don't regreat it one bit. I have let 3 of my closest freinds test ride my banshee now that I have it hopped up and 2 of them are riding there own after having me port it out and do a few other tricks to them and it the funniest thing to hear one of them laughing while he rides over the feel and sound of the powerband every time he hits it and the last guy hasn't riden with us anymore lately in disapointment after tring to race one of the guys and getting roosted heavly with rocks as he fell behind in the race and didn't pull to the side in time, I feel his Raptor will be for sale real soon

I like Banshee but their resale value is pathetic. Your Raptor is probably worth $1500+ more.
