Default kodiak 450 differential lock

i know the the kodiak 450 4x4 has a front differential lock -- but does the rear have a SELECTABLE lock on it as well? or is it a solid axle like all other atvs (equal power to both rear wheels all the time)?

thanks

Yip camo-man is right Kodiak 450 is a solid axle, equal power delivered to the wheels with no option to select slip or lock mode.

As far as I know all the big manufacturers have a locked rear diff. I know the yamaha is a crown and pinion set up that has no differential.

thanks for your insight.

it looks like the only atvs with rear differentials are the polaris atp (all terrain pickup) and the kawasaki bayou 2x4.

maybe 2005 for yamaha -- the big bear needs a makeover.... a 6th gear or a hi/lo on the trans, lateral engine design, and a rear diff with locker...............it must of been a dream i had last night. ha!
