I was wondering what a 300EX would need to race with 400EX's? If a 300EX can never race with a 400EX then tell me what I need to do to get it close to the same ability. Thanks for the HELP!

 

Big Bore kit and a good set of raceing shocks.

I agree with all the posts ahead of mine..have to have some *****...a big bore kit....defenetly some good shocks for mx...and put some practice in to enhance your skills...Remeber what they say....the quad doesn't win races..the rider does

 

IF you can find them (or if they make them for the 300ex), get +3 a-arms with offset rims, bore it out a little, Put a new filter on it, a new jet kit, White bros E-series pipe/silencer, Klaws all the way around, RPM +4 axle, maybe change the gearing around a little for more bottom end, make the quad go on a diet (aluminum parts), get nerfs (AC), gotta have a front bumper (AC bumpers look real nice on 300ex's), Roll design steering stem, Handlebars (your choice). That should get you running with 400ex's on the MX track depending on how much weight you save.
