polaris won't warranty it
#1
I have a friend with an 04 predator and he had the case crack where the swing arm bolt goes through the case. He's only had the bike for a couple of months and he only weighs 130lbs. Took quad to dealer and polaris cover it under warrany because they say he must of abused the quad. Has anybody ever heard of the case cracking in this spot?

I have heard many, many instances where Polaris has gone way above and beyond on covering warranty items....especially on the Predator. Cracked frames, which were openly admitted to being raced. Items months out of warranty. You can try another dealer, or the suggestion to make sure you're at the dealer you purchased the quad from initially. If it's legit, they will probably cover it. If it isn't (and a riders wt doesn't matter, I've seen some very stupid, abuse stunts by flyweights), and they don't cover it, sometimes, in life, we have to fess up and fix our own wounds. They've stood behind this machine like no other manufacturer ever has, give 'em a try, and be prepared to live with the verdict.
I'm not picking sides here, just stating that sometimes when you ride hard, you roll the dice. Da facts of life.

Sounds like your dealer is just being a jerk! If the claim is turned in Polaris WILL cover it...Guess the dealer just dosent want the extra work and future busness.....find another dealer!
The only problem I seen with warranty is since we live closr to Canada..people like to buy the bikes up there to save a few bucks and have the local dealer do the warranty service...needless to say that dog dont hunt!
