Default looks like im goin green

hopefully ill be gettin a quad by the end of the summer and i love banshees but i not so sure if i want one after the stuff i hear about them

and i hear a lot of stuff i dont like about raptors and i dont want anything under a four hundred so looks like im goin with the kfx

if u guys think theres a yamaha that suits me im 6' 130 -135 pounds and will be rididng on streets (not busy ones), feilds, pits, and maybie a trail if i visit my cousins. and i dont know to much about quads (well not how to fix them any ways) so i dont want one that requires a excessive amount of work.

and im probably buyin used so what kind of things should i check for (so i know im not getting a piece of junk)

I would probably suggest a raptor, its kinda a more trail machine, they make a yfz450, but its more for racing applications. The shee is a great machine, but doesn't have great suspension, and can be some work sometimes too....so i suggest a rappy

Dont want anything under a 400 eh? A Banshee will smoke almost any 400 besides the new 450's......

Looks like they are going to discontinue the Banshee next year...They are blowin them out at like 4900.00 bucks here in Phoenix.Unfortunatly the 2 stroke era is slowly coming to a close. The thumpers sre takin over....

Massachusettes eh? good luck finding anywhere to ride. they love handing out $250 tickets in the powerlines and pits...who knows what the hell they're gonna slap you with if they catch you in the streets. probably take your ride. not to be a downer...but MA sucks for riding.

to steer you towards the right ride for you...we really need to know how you will be riding.

Banshee: the only place you'll fully enjoy this ride in MA..is in sandpits.
Raptor: i know..i know...you've been hearing things. regardless...this is a great match for your dimensions and a fit for where you plan on taking it.
KFX-Z-Articcat 400: also a great fit. you'll need reverse in the tight trails in MA. it's ergonomics will fit you nicely as well.
KFX700: another good choice for a tall guy who doesn't want to deal with maintinace. no chain and sprockets...hell, no shifting. and they rip.
TRX450 & YFZ: theres no need. if you just plan on riding for enjoyment. why blow your cash on a machine you really don't need?

IMO: go out and get yourself a used 400ex. you sould be able to get one fairly cheap. with the money you save...you can mod it if needed. reliable, handles great. and its a good fit for all the areas in MA .

good luck
