i want to buy an used yamaha atv. i think....... i was looking at the banshee or the raptor but i dont know hwta one is better? what one is faster? i know the banshee has more speed at take off but in the long run the raptor is faster. what can win races better? i have rode a few atv before. i dont want some small little crapy one. does any one know where i could get a used one that is cheap? year really doesnt matter just has to be in good shape. what is better for goin off small jumps?

 

well there 2 completly different machines, 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke. it depends where ur mostly riding. banshee is good for the dunes but a raptor would be better for trail riding. check ur local paper and adds and maybe ebay

 

what do you mean dunes???? i want to do some dirt trails/ dirt of roading with some racing and jumps. and through woods with cleared out trails

 

I have a banshee and that is all i did with it is trailride. It worked good for me. and by the way it is for sale.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If you're not ever planning on riding in the sand then get a raptor for sure... It'll be better for all around riding by far
