i need help, my yfz is "FULL " of oil, but is seizing up, it stalls then sometimes restarts, i crank it with a socket and it seems to turn over dry. Can anyone help, or has anyone ever seen this.
Thanks

ive never heard of that, but too much oil, past the full mark, isnt good for it, its like having too little oil. could it somehow be over heating? that is a possibility id say.

oil is 1/16 below the full mark, you only run it a few seconds ond it seizes up????????

Seizing up to me means, the piston is no longer able to move up and down in the cylinder. Or the motor in general will no longer turn over, not free to move anymore. Your saying it does this, then after it cools down you can turn the motor over again and it starts? Please explain the symptoms alot better.

it seizes up at slow speeds, cold , then starter cannot turn engine over, but if i turn the engine backwards with a ratchet, it sort of turns over but feels tight in spots. thewarranty expired 1 month and a half ago, battling it out with yamaha because this is not the first to have this problem.
