Just wondering if you go by the owner's manual when changing the oil. Do you take anything apart like it says to or do you just drain the oil and put in new oil and filter?

 

I just did mine last week. I did the whole process.It was not that hard and there was a bit of stuff in the screen it seemed , so I would sugest to take it all apart. It took about 45 mins. I was confused about the priming of the pump but the guys here cleared it up nice for me! To prime the pump after it is all back together , with the oil in it , you just clamp off the breather hose before the slit, at the top off the tank and run the machine for about 30 seconds or so. Then release the clamp[or vice grips] and you will here it suck in some air...its now primed, recheck oil levels and your good to go!
