Default Durablue Raptor Axle

I want an wider axle for my Raptor and, the the Durablue Eliminator 2+2 seems like the best deal. What are your expiriences with this axle good/bad.

Also, if i order one what else will i need or it is a direct replacement?

Lastly, they have an Excaliber Axle that is like 2x the price but i can't figure out why. From what i gather it has some Pin Drive Hubs or, something but, what is the advantage?

I've seen them at RockyMountainATV.com, is that the best price out there?

I have to durablue axle, bent it once in a nasty wreck but got it straightened. No problems to date. Another guy I ride with has one too, no problems to report.

Durablue are junk i mean JUNK ... Do not buy durablue.. They break easily.. they rust.. and on top of that they do not have a true life time warrenty... the best out there and i mean the best all the pros have this one its the RPM Dominator.... thats the best... the price might be steep on your wallet but it is the best for the amount of money you pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are going to buy a cheap axle, get a lonestar. If you want the best axle, get an rpm. If you want something lighter and almost as strong, get the db x33.

I have the DB Elimnator axle on mine. I have had it for a very long time with no problems once I learned I need to tighten the hubs down real tight.

The axles I bought had everything I needed.

The axcaliber is a Lonestar axle. It has a better warrenty.

The x-33 has pin drive hubs. It is for less weight and adjustability.

dude, the Durablue axles are fine...I donno what happened to you to think they are sooo horrible but I've had mine for a long time and I know others too, everyone is happy with then. No breaks, deffinatly no rust (I donno where you got this idea), and there warranty is life time you just cant buy one second hand and get the warranty, if you buy it new theres nothing to worry about.

I say go for buying it!

What is the weight difference in the DB 2+2 and the x33?

I agree, Bubba....I still have the same DB Eliminator after 2 years of racing desert. Getting pounded by boulders, rolling the quad multiple times, nasty whoops and uphill, rocky sections. The DB is still going strong with obvious scratches, but no rust or bending.

If something happens to it now, I'd say I got my moneys worth and order up another one.....

I like my Lonestar. Makes it real compatible for the LSR sprocket hub and locknut.

Replace your bearings and seals, too. Everything else should be fine. Whatever axle you get will come with new hubnuts.
