Will stock 400ex treads fit on my stock Warrior rims? There is only a half inch difference in size. If they won't...then what other flat tread would be good for my Warrior. I'm tired of my donut looking tires.

 

why not go with aftermarket?

 

If I'm not mistaken .. the 400EX has 20x10x9's doesn't it? If so, then yes, they will fit the Warrior. I put 22x11x9 razrs on mine to replace the stock duncrap 22 x 10 x 9's

depends on what kind of terrain u ride

 

I pretty much ride on everything...beaches, sand dunes, trails, and even dirt roads.

 

I put Maxxis razr's on my warrior.What a huge difference.They are 20X11X9.I wanted the lower profile to improve handling for racing but it does hurt the ground clearance.The razr's give you the full 11 inches of tread on the ground compared to about 3 inches on the stock dunlop balloons.No matter what tire you pick it will be better than the stockers as long as you stay away from the balloon style.

I would say that the best tire would be the Spyder Trac or the Sur Trac but I ride in alot of sloppy stuff. But yet again when i dries up around here the do very well also.

 

I have a few freinds that ride DS650's and they are using Kenda Knarly's size 20-11-9 they work well in all kinds of terrain and fairly decent in the sand even on those heavy bikes.
