Can someone tell me the top speeds of a stock raptor and a stock ds650. I am getting a raptor and my buddy is getting a ds650. It would be better if someone had a link to a site with more specific engine specs...such as horsepower and torque and stuff like that. If you can help me please do. thanks

 

lol ds650 tops out more and has more horse, i still cant figure out why tho, cause rotaxes dont make that much more hp then a typical 4 stroke engine

 

good luck winning for top speed against a ds mine tops out at 89mph with just 22 tires and i hvent hit the rev limiter yet if i did it would be 94

Money is no option.I need to get a ATV capable of speeds in excess of 100 MPH. What ATV can satisfy my needs? I'm looking for somthing that can top out around 120-130 mph easily. I need Power, Speed, Handling and Stability.

good luck no bike will do even close to that stock. Closest you will get stock will be 80 mph and thats pushing it. Only way u will ever hit 120-130 is to dump tons of money into it and even then it would take for ever to reach that speed. That being said a stock quad could do it with a major gear change but takeoff would be so slow and would take a mile to hit top speed. So if thats all your after i would just buy a crotch rocket! and no wayin hell your DS does 89 i would say 80 tops!

 

if you want to do 120 130 get a sports car.it is possible to reach those speeds on a quad but it reguires you to drop your quad out of a airplane[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] just kidding.but i think the world record is around 120 130 im not sure though.are youre talking about a 1/8 or quater mile dragster?

it would take a 15 tooth up front and a 28 tooth in back to reach 125 on a stock raptor.and i dont think then you would have anywhere near the power to run those gears.
