Default clutch tuning questions

What does heavier clutch weights do? I know it brings a springs stall back down. Why would you not just buy a spring without stall? Or zero stall with a high shiftout?

What does the dalton overdrive cover do? I know its lighter, but what does that make it do?

Are these mods beneficial on a stock bike or do you need pipe/airbox mods & jetting to realize a benefit?

Weights supply the leverage to make your v shift gears. The heavier the weights the faster it will shift, if you can hold the same RPM's. The Dalton clutch plate is lighter, so you can add heavier weights to shift faster, also it is made to give more top speed by letting your clutches close more.

Dale @ Dalton has a V that he races, I would suggest talking to him about the plate and weights for a stock V.
