Your best bet is to just give Rick a call. If anyone knows what to do, it would be him. Just wish my wife would let me put one on her TB.

im afraid it sounds like u ran it lean and it now has stuck piston rings. thats the same thing that happened to me. started cold but not hot. check your compression then if its bad (which i bet it is) tear it apart. rcr, az bad boyz bore for 40 bucks and 80 dollars for a piston. good luck. u may also want to look into porting while its apart. scott

Most likely without a doubt you are running rich. If thats all you did to the carb is change the jet. You also need to change the needle position to a more lean position. What color is your plug? If it is black then you are rich. If it is gray or white then then you are lean but it sounds like you have not adjusted the needle to take care of the rich start. If you want to lean it out then raise the clip one slot at a time. Or if you are too lean then go down 1 slot at a time. Very easy to do. If you are not sure then when it gets to a point where it wont start then at that time raise or lower the clip and see if it starts easier.

OH also another way to eliminate the possability of it being lean is try choking it. If it starts then yes it is lean. You are cutting off air so it wont be lean but if it still dont start then it is rich. If it is rich you can take off the airbox lid to get more air and it should start easier. With this it will tell you which way to go on the clip.

Another litttle test is to try holding it wide open if it's rich this will let in enough air that it should fire up and clear out.
