Im trying to figure out how to change the needle notch on the YFZ carb. I have no idea what im doing and what to look for. I changed the jet but i cant find out how the change the needle. HELP!!!

 

take out the 4 allen bolts on the bottom of the carb. The bowl should pull right off. You will see the needle in there. Its very easy.

 

i pulled the bowl and changed the JET...trying to move the needle...5 notches from the top. HOW????????????

 

Remove the top off of the carb. You will see a allen head set screw when you look in. Remove that and the needle is under there. Move the C clip to what position you want.

Did you pull out the carb or are you just twisting it while its connected to the bike? To reach the top of the carb you must reach it through the right side of the bike. Like the guy above me said take the top of the carb off and remove it from the hex.
