Default yet another alchohol/methanol question!

hopefully i can get several people to list what needle, main and pilot they are running on a tm45 if they are running a pilot. what i have read so far the main is around 230 240 range. the smallest main i've got from rw is a 290. and they told me the pilots they sent would have to be drllied. kinda weird! and also if they are running their stock pitcock.because the paper that came with the kit said it was good for 300ft or less.and i'm wanting a set up to run the 1/8 mile asphalt. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Default yet another alchohol/methanol question!

I got my kit from RWR last August. I got 270-330 mains, 5 pilots, D95 needle, oversized needle tube and float needle/seat.

Mine runs good with stock petcock as long as tank is almost full, at 1/2 tank or lower the bowl starves.

I drilled pilot out to about .080" removed "baffle tube",clip on bottom groove, and 280 main.

You are supposed to be able to drill the stock petcock, but strainers have to be cut off and a in-line alcohol safe filter installed.

Just from experience I drilled out a jet and it broke off when removing it. So be careful to not get it too thin.

Did you get a digtal gauge or one on those round gauges kindof like a tac or gas gauge? It is beter to go with the digtal gauge because when running alky it is better to keep an eye on your temp when u are at full throttle with an accruate reading. With the other type you cant get an exact temp reading. It is very crtical to keep a very close eye on the exhaust temp because if not, then you could really damage something. Just thought i would let u know. If u have any more questions just private message me and i will be more than happy to help you. Lance

Oh and with an exact reading on the gauge you can get the jetting exact everytime and run to the alkys best performence.
