Found an '86 250R???
#1
I sold my Blaster last week, and have been looking for a used Banshee. Today I saw an ad reads:"'86 250R, rare, low hours, been in storage over 10 yrs., still rides on orig. tires, not some trashed out racer, a real collectors item, $2950". I've thought about a 250R, but didn't think I would find one. The bike in the picture looks very clean. What were the differences on this year and later years? What should I look for that would tell me if this is truly all original, not just new plastic and such. This thing is located about 200 miles away, in the middle of no where, but I think it may be worth the drive. Any comments?
Thanks,
Steve

Too late, some guy from Dallas already bought it. He must have driven at least 500 miles for it. The owner said he just sold an '89 also that was even cleaner. He and his dad bought them years ago, and after his dad passed away he put them in storage for the passed 10 years. Man I'll never find a deal like that again. Does anybody have any experience with a '92 Suzuki LT250R? I might drive to go look at one tomorrow. It's all stock in mint condition, but he wants around $3k for it. I know the Honda's are worth that, but I don't hear as much about the Suzuki's, except they were fast as hell too.

the LTs are cool!
I almost got one..but i got a 300EX..you can see me kicking myself.
Well it was a 91 for 2,000 with a ton of mods.
I think i'd pass on that 92 unless you can get it for less than 2,800.
But the LTs are awesome..fast and powerful!
