can you guys give me any info on a/c 500's year 03 or 04 of any problems if any i should know about
i have to move into the big bore arena my 300 is to slow but i still like it.

Having owned both years, I have to say the 2004 is a much better machine.

The brakes are improved on the 04, muffler is rubber mounted, they added the "pod" with more digital gauges, electric shift 2x/4x4a reciever hitch, auto choke, better tires, redesigned the seat latch, and the fenders are wider for beter coverage. I think that's it for the changes, I'd go for the 04.

 

For the very reasons 1wook mentioned. He didn't mention the 2" reciever hitch. I found that to be handy also.

what do you think of the 500 or the 650 i'm concerned about the problems there having with the limp mode though.
