problem with prairie 650
#1
I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I was riding my quad this weekend and the thing just shut off on me going down an old road. It did this like 2 or three times. I can turn the switch off then back on and it will start right back up. I'm not really sure where to start looking for this problem.
Also has anyone had to shim there secondary clutch after putting a new belt on.

Check your ignition. My brothers was doing this, and he had to cough up the dough for a new one. It also causes funky belt light activity, and other issues. But if its turning off on you at speed, theres a good chance that its the ignition. Good luck!
