Default 86 250r value??

There was a guy that I know came into my store today said he wanted to sell his 86 atc250r. I have not seen it yet Because i wanted to ask everyone what it might be worth before i make an offer on it. I know that it will not start. He said that it isnt getting any fire at the plug so i am thinking that the coil might be bad. Otherwise the bike is in good shape, the frames not bent forks are straight etc. ( the only reason that i know that is because i know the previous owner). What do you guys think?? I a get it then anyone want an 84250r thats down to the frame for restoration??

Around here, in running condition and looking pretty good there about $1500-$1800. We all want a water cooled ! With it not running, look it over a mention everything wrong and offer $800-$1000.

Ok well i am picking it up prolly friday and if there worth that much around there then i am going to have a stroke! Ok whats wrong with it is there is no fire at the spark plug. Other than that it is complete andvery very nice. after i get it here then i will hav a total of like 75 dollars invested in this machine I dont think that i could be any happier right now! Some of what i noticed on it. ful DG exhaust, new maier plastics, renthal bars and douglas wheels on the rear.

Definitely give it a good look over. Shake the rear axle to check for play in the bearing carrier and play in the pivot bearigns on the swing arm. These are just some quick checks to let you know what you may be replacing soon. Cosmetically you will obviously see any flaws if there are any. Like Thrash said, i would go over $1000.00. Good Luck.
