need help...YFZ oil change/type!

Default need help...YFZ oil change/type!

just finished my oil change....filter and oil. used maxum 10w40 synthetic. i sit down and thumb through the owners manual and notice that it asks for 20w40. what the hell is 20w40? whats the diffrence, please explain i need some schoolin?

and am i okay? or do i have to get the 10w40 out and replace with 20w40. I'm racing saturday and need to know asap.

10W40 amsoil Synthetic is what I use.

are you riding a YFZ and if so how long have you been running with that?

yamahalube...... use wut the manual reccomends or look in mags to see the kind the racers use

Default need help...YFZ oil change/type!

I use Yamalube 4R...but any quality motorcycle oil within weight specs will work. Valvoline makes some good 4-stroke oil too.
