Hey, i have a lt250r and it goes through chains quite fast, my last one only lasted 3 months and it streched, but it was a stock one from the dealer.im goin to the aftermarket now, and im looking at a good chain that is going to last but is fairly inexpensive.any help will be greatly apreciated!

I am using a RK on my bike. There are lots of other good brands out there. Some I have had good experience with are Regina, DID, and Sidewinder. There are others, but those are the only ones I have used.

So far I have used the stock chain, Sidewinder, and DID X-Ring. Here are my thoughts.
Stock chain did not seem to rust as easily as the others. But it did not last as long as the others.
Sidewinder - VERY expensive. When new it is beautiful, almost looks chrome, shiny silver, but go on one wet ride and forget to lube it afterwards and it rusts very quickly. Pretty close in lifespan to the DID, maybe a little longer. I have used there sprockets and chain, and I feel that they are way too over-priced for their lifespan.
DID X-ring - gold sideplates, supposed to have better sealing of lube and less friction from the rings. I would say it is probably going to last about as long as the Sidewinder, but about 1/2 the cost. I will buy the DID again, or maybe try one of the colored chains.
