Im making a trip to little sahara (UT) in a few weeks and i have attempted jetting so many times on my current carb, i have lost a few parts... (i also want the extra so once i get out there and try to jet for the elevation im not screwed if i lose somthing)
I Pm'd domi and saint awhile back, but i lost contact (if you guys still have your carbs please email me)
i missed a bid a few months back on the one on ebay (sold for 35 bucks)
im willing to give 35 for a complete one or 25or so for one missing parts
things i have to trade (possible trades not for sure)
White brothers pipe (would have to add cash of course if you wanted it)
Stock header
MBRP SS race headers
also 2 questions ill tack on here... does anyone know what the elevation of LS UT is? we are at about 800 feet here in illinois, and i would like to get an idea of how many jets/clip positions ill have to move to get close to the right jetting for LS.
And what is the stock pilot called? (i guess there are two kinds of mikuni pilots?) i went to order them from my local shop and they didnt know which ones the DS uses (its a yammy shop) is there a specific style the ds one is called or part number for it? (i was thinking about getting one size up and one size down just to have on hand)
let me know guys, as usual your help is much appreciated!

I have a stock carb lying around, but I would probably have to have a little more then 35 for it. It is off of my x, so it is new. For the pilot jet it is for a bsr, which the predator uses also, and I believe the 450r honda uses the bsr42 mikuni.

little sahara utah is 5,000 feet. I've not been there with a stock carb, but on my TM I drop 3 main jet sizes for the alitutde change. I've been there with others running stock carbs, I think they dropped 2 main jet sizes and ran very well. the BSR's having the vacuum slide help compensate a bit for altitudes, to a certain extent.
the pilot it takes is the same as for the TM Mikuni's. just take out your pilot, take it to the shop, and match it up with what they got in their drawers. or call RWR and order them for $2.50 each + shipping. they can also sell you all the parts you're missing. very good service I've experienced thus far over the past 3 years and many orders.
the Hondas have a Kehein carb, but yes the predator is the same carb.

When are you headed out to our little sand box?
If it will work out we could come down and show you around if you like. It is a awsome place to ride that is for sure.

Roost I ride LS often with the stock carb. Clip in 4th posistion down, stock pilot, 165 main. With K&N and my pipe it seems to work. Hope that gets you close.

View the "blow up" of the carb.
Part 21 is the "starter jet" and is listed on the pg1 of parts list....
Part 67 is the 'pilot jet" and listed on pg2 of the parts list.
Sizes and part numbers are included for ya.
