Change pilot jets or not???
#1
I just installed a full yoshi system on my raptor, going from a slip on GYTR pipe. I jetted it at 148,150 dynojets. Ive always run with no lid, even with the GYTR pipe. I have the stock pilots with 3 turns out on the air screws and im at sea level. Anyways, my buddy is insisting i change the pilots too bigger ones,he swears i will get more response and low end power by doing this. It seems too run good now, responsive and everything. I tell him if you can tune it with the air screw ,then you dont need bigger pilots.Am i wrong or is he correct?? Anybody do this from experience?? I would just try it too shut him up(lol) if it wasnt such a pain in the *** too jet this thing, any good input appreciated

Your spark plug will tell the story . What's it look like .
Looks like your running stock bore and compression . I probly wouldnt touch it. if you increase bore and comp then you might . Hard to say Sounds like youve got lot's of oxygen seeing how your at Sea level . so watch your plug color .
