i have the mods listed below. i want it to take off hard and to wheelie easy. im lookin at either the hpd red or blue. dennis is going to send me a red to test but it has to go back after im done tryin it and if it wheelies easy and takes off hard i will buy one, but i wanna know what u guys think so throw out your ideas. the blue and red are the same price but the blue is a higher engagment and its not that much higher so i think i may just get that unless i really like the red. and im gonna have jeff custom grind some weights to be like his if he ever gets on and checks his pms lol.

jeff10049 custom ground his own weights and they work like a dream for him, im going to ask him if would custom grind mine if he ever gets on. im pretty much set on the hpd blue or red i just need someone to tell me which way to go. i dont really want the dalton that rick sells, i like them but i would rather have hpd. since with hpd they have the listed stalls on the site and i dont have to call around too different ppl at find out the stalls.

You really need to get you a tach to see what your clutch is doing and what it NEEDS to do.Lots of time more engagment wil hurt performance if it is not matched to the complete setup.Buy yourself Aaens clutch tunning guide and youwill get a better grip on what is going on and what you may want out of your machine.

Do a search on the forum.I had a talk on here with Bubba about tachs a few weeks ago.He told me to get a small cheap tach and set it for 4cly engine for a 2stroke atv.I have a digtal tach on my 500 and it works ok for refferances but dont read real fast.Gave around $30 for it.

ftwflh, I noticed that HPD is selling a tach for the Polaris 6 pulse ignition systems (500 scram and SP) for $75. Orignially $135. I believe that it was in their "specials" section. In case you were looking for a nice analoge tach

Mudmaster I got that tach that ftwflh has the digatal one it does read slow but will work for finding out the stall rpms most small engine (lawnmower) repair shops around here carry them the brand name on mine is tiny tach about 25 bucks. A tach is a big help when playing with clutching.
I wanted to say that my weight profile may not work and wheelie as well on your quad because I noticed you will be changing your gearing to 3.16 ratio and mine is a 3.80.
But we can try.
