Default 2 predator lube questions!

First of all, what type of oil/grease do you all use on your chains. All that I have been using so far is the stuff that comes in the polaris lube kit. That stuff seems to be gone after on ride and the chain is dry. What works good?

Second, Polaris oil is too expensive and probobly not even that great, what other kinds of oil do you guys use? whats best?

Thanks!

Give Triflow with Teflon a try on your chain. The stuff works great!

I get it from Carquest (a local auto parts store) Modquad said he has gotten it from Walmart as well. Shop around your local auto parts stores. One of them should carry it. It aint cheap, but it is some good stuff

Walmart for the 3M Marine plastic spray. True Value Hardware for Tri-flow. Grainger also carries it...kinda spendy there though. Tri-flowindustrial.com. Along with the chain use, if you slightly pull back the boots on your steering pivots and give 'em a periodic squirt. Make sure to lube your chain after every wash. Once you swithch to Tri-flow, your chain will be self-cleaning. The teflon in the spray acts just like the teflon on a frying pan....da eggs don't even stick, hmmm, time for breakfast. You might have some small dirt deposits up front where the chain wraps around the front sprocket, but for the most part, it's self cleaning.
