Default $58.00 wtf????

K I needed a stock air filter for my 00 warrior, I went to the local dealer (Wheel Sport) and told him I needed the whole filter because I hade a k&n that was finished, I’m trying to get back to stock. He told me that there were three parts, a plastic guide, a foam filter and an end cap. He said the guide it self was worth $58.00 then the foam $5.00 and the end cap was like $10.00! How can they sell a piece of plastic for $58.00??

Just buy another K&N or Uni filter, they are better and cheaper. Just out of curiousity, how old are you and how many years of schooling have you had??

. HRC? around $250.00, it was worth it, and is a better investment than a $58.00 filter . like they said, get a uni, or pro-flow, the mechanic told me K&N's let in too much dirt, thats why i got a stock one on my banshee..

58.00 dollars for that cage??? Man I would check another Yamaha dealership. I broke one on my old raptor and i think it was like 15?? 20?? somewhere in there. When i had my warrior i broke the air box ( dont ask ) and it wasnt but 18 bucks.
