air box for trailboss

Default air box for trailboss

hey can anyone help me
i have a few mods on my 2000 trailboss 325
aeen pipe
k&n filter
hsp clutch kit
stage 1 jet kit (on the way)
and would like to know
what would be the advantage or modifing the air box lid
and would getting those air filter mods (1" filters)
from ronnies be ok
thanks for the help

Default air box for trailboss

Since you have the pipe and filter already, the air box mod would be a good step. If you want those two to perform their best, they'll need air. The air box mod I have on mine came with the RCR kit. Drilled two 1 inch hole on the top of the lid and put some rubber grommets in the holes. Also running K&N filter. Only drawback is having to be careful with water getting in box. It should help you perfomance wise.
