i am really curious about this subject. everyone i talk to always says their raptor has little problems, such as the stock carb boots, and little things like that, what problems have you guys had

lol, i hear ya, let me re-phrase, mechanical problems?

 

BASICALLY: my rappy has had a lot of probs but mine was at least 3 years old before i bought it cause its an 01' and the probs i had were

clutch: i had to put a new one in-- new one is OEM
one-way starter: replace with new cause starter didn't turn over--new is OEM
Parking break:wire went back so i eliminated it from my rappy: replaced with $10.00 peice from dealer

other then that im with dirthead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!---CRUZ--

 

Carb boots, one-way, choke, and pulling my arms out of their sockets.

 

02 tranny, one-way starter bearing, head gasket. The first two are not little problems.
