Weight limit for an lt80?
#1
My nephew weighs about 100lbs. Height wise he could probably move up to something a little bigger, but he does not have that much experience on his LT. I do not want to push him until he is ready so if the LT will suffice I will keep him on it over the summer. I just don't want to ruin the LT either. What would be the next logical step when it is time to move up?
Thanks!
Thanks!

My daughter went from the LT80 to the LT160. The 160 is a nice in-between bike, before they step up to something bigger like the 250.
One of those placards on the fenders, should tell you the weight limit for the bike, and it will be in the owners manual, somewhere.

I'm 265 and can't hurt one
My kids raced the LT's at 140+
All my kids went thru the LT230 after the LT80's. One boy has a 300ex now, the other a 350 rancher.

You can build that 80 up to run circles around that 160. I give him a little more power, let him gain a little more experince. Then I'd get something like a 250ex, z250 or blaster.

Thanks guys, I'm going to turn him loose and try to get him as much seat time as possible this year. Last year everything took a crap (mine and my brothers bikes and the tow vehicle) and we didn't get him out as much as I would have liked
