rad mfg tapered bearing carrier for banshee<<<

i just bought a rad mfg. bearing carrier{tapered bearings}, the problem is that the bolts, along with the things that hold them are bending. the part that the rear caliper bolts to. i used good grade steel bolts. this is very annoying problem as my pads wear unevenly... i had to shim up the space in between where the caliper bolts up becouse there tolerences werent right...i am gonna call them tommorow, i just wanted to see if any one else has one, if so any probs????? i will let u know if they stand by their product or not.....thanx in advance.

I have the same carrier. Mine fits perfectly. The machining and craftmanship are excellent. I am not exactly what you are describing, but uneven pad wear is usually caused be a siezed up caliper. If the caliper is not floating like it should, you will get uneven pad wear. I doubt that the carrier is the culprit. However, if it is indeed, don't shun me for it. Later.

i wont shun you, lol. it is in fact the carrier, i didnt recieve any mounting hardware{bolts}, im sorry i didnt explain very good,the tubes that the brake mounts to were bending forward and that is why pads wore unevenly.. i called them and the owner was VERY helpful, he is going to send me new tubes and bolts...he seemed to want to make things right, so far looks like a company that WILL STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT...NICE JOB ALLOY SPECIALTIES(RAD)....

I have the exact same carrier for my Banshee and haven't had any problems with it. Mine as been on my Banshee for about 2 years now. It it is a far cry better unt than the factory unit. It sounds like the guy is working with you on your problem, so hang in there and see if he can help you resolve your problems.
