Default I think they forgot to put neutral on my Pred

After the quad warms up and I have been riding a while I cannot get my Pred into neutral w/o shutting it off. When its cool no problems. Is anyone else having this problem, is there any fixes? BTW its an 03'...

Don't have a specific answer to your problem, but since it's a wet clutch tranny, be sure you're using a synthetic motorcycle specific oil.

You need to adjust your clutch free play, then you can find neutral with no problem...

BTW, I have never had a problem finding neutral on my 04 pred...

I do use synthetic polaris oil. Humm I never thought about adjusting the free play in the clutch, because it felt fine to use. I figured it might have something to do with the 03' trans issues, but wasn't sure.

After dealing with a few 03 preds and talking to people on the forums... Adjusting the clutch play will pretty much fix the "finding neutral" problem.. the problem is the clutch is staying engaged even when pulled completely in thus applying torque to the shifting forks making it hard to find neutral..

This is not just a predator problem the same thing happened to my banshee, for that matter this can happen to any manual transmission vehicle...
