how much diff will i get from going to a web 109's. I have the babby ones now. the 110's. Heres the deal. My bro just switched to the stage 2 hot cam and is now beating me by 3 maybe 4 bike lengths. before we were swapping wins. he was running a mild craycraft 686. now i guess it's a stage2 craycraft??? anyway can i expect the same results as he got just by going with the bigger cam? I would like to stay stock bore. that sounds better after ya win.

I just made the same switch about 2 months, 110's to 109's. There is a HUGE difference on the top end. Bottom suffered a little, but is still pretty good. But it seemed the 110's fell off at 6500 rpms, that's where the 109's START to pull. They give it a real 2-stroke hit between 6500 and 8000 rpms.

I'd say you will be swapping wins again.......if he's lucky!!!!!

Also heard good things about MrHp's cams, specs are confidential, but they seem to scream on the top, and pull good all the way through.

the 109's do pull the top great, are you still running the 16-40 gearing with the 22"haulers? if you are try a 15 front, that will get you out of the hole faster and with the 109's the extra rev will give you very fast top end i still run 15-43 and the top end is faster than i like to go on shaved bald tires

Did you change the valve springs too?

I'm thinking this may be what is needed on the Wife's quad. The stage 1 cam just doesn't have the punch I was expecting.

Yes sir, the springs are dual stage. The stage 2 cam along with bumping up from 11:1 to 12:1 compression made a very noticable difference. The top end keeps pulling now instead of maintaining.

Larry, even though I don't want to give up what I gained, get whatever cams DuneMe has in his DS. His DS pulls like crazy on the top end, it was looking like the energizer bunny at Dumont when he was there that weekend. Whatever he has is your best bet, IMO. Of course getting Mark to give up that info might not be that easy.

Look at the A1A2 cams from RonWoods. I have them and love them.. They pull really hard!!! I also have the 11.5 piston...
