Default Oil light on my Vforce

The break in period is over. I changed the oil and put in 10-40 mobil one. I rode for an two hours without stopping....I rolled the bike and an hour after rolling the bike the oil light went on. I shut the bike down and checked the oil level and everything was fine. I turned on the bike and the oil light was lit but very dimmly lit. I shut the bike down and the oil light turned off. I rode the bike for another hour and the light never came back on.

The bike was pretty wet when the oil light went on. Has this happened to anybody else before???? Thanks for any help I can get.

My oil light came on, on my V, it hasn't reached its first service point yet. We were switching from trail riding and playing in the river.. My friend said it was normal that the light would come on, from being in and out of the water so much that day. Something about the oil cooling down some much.

After a while the light went out and I haven't seen it back on since. Also I haven't been riding in the water as much since.. So he might of been right.

Just thought i'd mention that, since you did say you were riding in the water..

I found a great place in Utah that sell Kawasaki parts at a good price. They beat the local dealers pirice by $40.00 for my front fender. I got their number from EBAY and purchased all my skid plates and nerf bars for my bike.

The dealer's name is RON GREENE SPORTS CENTER located in MOUNT PLEASANT, UT. Their number is 435.462.2425 ask for Paul in sales and tell them Peter From New York City refered you. Paul is a nice guy and will give you some good pricing.
