Lost A Fellow Rider This Weekend
On Saturday we were all out riding at a local pit where we ride all the time. There was about 30-35 of us out there that day.
A rider on a yami 426 bike was climbing up the bowl, he hit a weird rut which totally through him into a weird trajectory off the jump. He had about 15-20 feet of air but landed on the front tire and he flew off and broke his neck and later died on the way to the hospital.
He was a frequent motocross racer and never did dumb things, He must of made the same jump about 30 times that day. This just goes to show what kind of freak accidents can happen to even the best of riders.
So this is just a reminder to be careful.
Worst part is, his fiance was recording the jump and his birthday was 2 days away, he was going to turn 30.
