JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNOWS WHEN THE 2005 BOMBARDIERS ARE INTRODUCED

 

i think they come out at the end of july.

 

Buddy of a buddy told me the dealer told them (as you can tell, this isn't reliable) that they have already stopped making the '04's and soon will ramp up for '05 production.

For those that don't know. . . Bomb produces Sleds (Ski Doo), PWC (Sea Doo) and Quads in the same factory. Very smart. They are able to keep busy all year long and produce whatever is needed (based on demand) when they need to. They will either be in ATV production, PWC production or Sled production.

One of the most expensive things for a factory is down-time. They are able to keep the factory busy with their bredth of products and not have to wory about the seasonal demands of the consumer. Thus, inventory is reduced further contributing to the bottom line.

The new shop around the corner from me has sold their allotment of ATV's already. They were the Gas Gas dealer before that. Ask West Coast ATV about Gas Gas now and they'll probably say, Who?? I hear the Yammy dealer that was in a bad location far away from this spot is now going to put up a remote office (finally giving iin that the location the Bomb dealer has is far better.) They say they are going to keep the other store in the bad area of town. I give it maybe 3-years before they move all their operations to the better location. Amazing how arrogant some of these dealers can be sometimes.

 

My dealer has a couple. The New ones are all RED no black rear fenders.

 

What do you mean by new ones? If your talking about 05's they are not out yet.

 

The 05s are in production. the 04s are sold out at Bomb. the early 05s are shipping
At least that is what I was told today

 

My dealer is on a way to a convention in the morning so he'll know what to expect.

I wish they'd build an 800+ size Rotax and get it over with.
