Im going to be puttin a new piston and cam in my 400 pretty soon and i was just wondering what was the best like wisco, je or ross for the piston im prolly going to go with a 10:8:1 or 11:1 but i heard wisco wasnt very accurate with there numbers. For the cam i was lookin at the hot cam stage 1 or the xr400 cam which would be the best for low and mid range thanks a bunch

I'd go with the wiseco 11:1 and the stage 1 hotcam, you can get both off ebay for around $200.00, the stage 2 takes away all your bottom end so i wouldnt recommend it.

 

Hey im thinkin about trading my 2002 400 polaris scrambler in for a 2004 400 ex is 400 ex's fast and dependable oh and another thing i was talkin 2 my friend and he has a 400 ex and he raced a 660 raptor and the 400 ex won u thinks thats true? plzz write back [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

the 400ex is probably the best dependable bike made, but i doubt the it beat a raptor unless it had a 440 or something in it

 

it would need way more than a 440 and where can u find the cams and stuff? what website besides ebay?
