Replacing the tie rod, does anyone know the torque for it? thanks
Any tips for install?

 

I just replaced one on our '01. I just knocked the old one out, it took a few hits, then tightened the new one on nice & firm and pinned it with the cotter key. Seemed to work fine, rode it a bunch at the dunes all weekend.

 

18 ft lb for the tie rod ends. If the cotter pin won't go through tighten it just a little more till the pin will go through. Good luck.
