frame stability on Raptor
#1
I am finally getting trustful in my raptor. I am starting to take higher and higher jump, but one thing does concern me is the frame. Will it hold up under the pressure? I bottom out sometimes, not alot, but every once in a while. I thought about getting some aftermarket shocks, and I will if it helps with increasing the frame integrity. Thanks for any advice.

Aftermarket shocks will not affect the frame integrity directly. You can't change the integrity of the frame without welding in braces.
They will however cushion the shock forces that are relayed to the frame, therefor putting less pressure on the frame. If you get a good set of Elkas, you will be able to take much bigger jumps at higher speeds and feel much more confident on you take-offs and landings. Plus they will let you quad set about 3" lower so you will also get better cornering and handling.
