Why not? A bigger jet means more power!

I've got a HFM slip on, on my 400, and I love it...it's loud as **** with no quitecore...

HFM sent a 170 Main with it. I put it in in the winter and it ran great. In the heat of the summer, (it's 85+ here) it bogs at the very top end...more like a stumble...

I dropped the jet to a 162 and it hits hard now.

I have a K&N filter, no lid, 14 tooth front sproket...that's about it for engine mods...oh yeah, I'm at 600 ft above sea level.

Do it!!!

with the air box lid on and no other mods to the bike, i would run a keihin 152-155. the larger you go, the less power you will have. it will be most noticable on top speed. a 170 is just too big imo.

a 152-155 should be good if your only other mod is a filter...
