banshee jetting with fmf

Default banshee jetting with fmf

running fmf fattys on stock motor 26mm ,k&ns,running 290s now seems like its slugish on the bottom....any suggestions??good mid and excellent topend

You mentioned the mains? Did you change the pilot jet or needle position?
And what is your elevation?

moved the needle clip to 4th stock pilots

I just put the fatty's on my banshee. There was a little piece of paper with the pipes that gave these instructions: (take into acct. that not all bikes are the same).

Stock needle/3rd clip
280 main
30 pilot
about 2 turns on the air screw.

I am at about 500 ft elevation and the bike runs great. I have not fouled a plug in the last 4 trips out...and these are usually full day rides.

Just thought I would share.

Fatties like a big pilot jet somewhere around 30 - 32.5's check to se what you have now, as it seems it needs more fuel on the pilot circuit.

as soon as i moved the clips I gained alot of top but the bottom is bad im running 25s for pilots

I move the needle until it bogs then back off one.

I still think you will get good results from a larger pilot jet.

start around 30
