Just picked up a new 04' F-350, crew-cab, 4x4 with the 6.0L Powerstroke over the weekend. Almost the same as my 99' except with the smaller diesel, single rear wheel (just don't tow enough to justify the dually anymore), and 3:73's instead of the 4:10's...better mileage. I was leaning towards the Chevy Duramax, mainly due to the Allison tranny, but Chevy was trying to make me take a bath on my trade so I had to walk. I just hope this truck proves to be reliable.

Anyone else own one please let me know what your experience has been thus far. And please guys, don't bash my ride. Thanks!

 

I've been a Ford guy forever but bought a Duramax 03. It's a nice truck, I woulda bought the Ford if their interior had been any more modern and gauges were any better than idiot lights. This Chevy has the crappiest heater in automotive history compared to Fords, and it also has very cheap paint. Oh well, I'm stuck with it for quite a while anyway. The powertrain is great on the other hand.

You will love the Ford I'm sure.
