does the larger jet go in left or right carb when sitting on it

 

The left side should be jetted roughly two sizes larger than the right due to it feeding two valves and the right feeding one.

Uh ohhh. I have a 145 main in my left and a 150 in my right. It seems to run fine though? Could this be bad in the long run?

 

i have called four dealerships and its 50/50 on which one

 

Wait, are u looking at the quad from the front or sitting on it when you talk about left and right?

 

sitting on it. looking at the manuel while sitting on it the smaller jet goes in the left or the carb with the idle control. this is the way i read it but could be wrong

 

i found my old yosh instructions and it says right larger but doesnt say how looking at it.

 

if its in place and u are sitting on it it will be the left one if its flipped over its the right.

 

i called yosh and they said the right carb while sitting on it and i also called alba and they said the same thing. the manuel says the carb with the idle is #1 and the other one is #2. Carb 1 says 140 and carb 2 is 145. carb two is right side or reverse **** side.

 

I guess im ok then.
