Ya, I'll try to keep this as short as possible......need a fan motor for my 2000 scrambler 500....went to the dealer...ordered one on next day shipping...they call me later that day and say its on backorder....I asked them how long it would take to get it on backorder and they said at the worst 3 weeks....so I wake for about five weeks....I call them...they say its still on backorder..well I said screw that I'll get it somewhere else...I call another dealer...they said it would take about a month to get one in......so I'm like~what the hell...So last option...I get on the internet and order one from Ronnies last night.....I get a call today and said that polaris has them on backorder and it could take a month or two to get it in......I was like son of a b*tch..........The thing is..I havn't been able to ride my quad because of this fan motor for about 2 months now...and in three weeks I'm leaving for Hatfield McCoy for a week and I need my quad running perfect.....I got on the polaris web site and got every dealer in Indiana's phone number and I'm going to call untill I find a place that has a fan motor for a 2000 scrambler 500....Because I need one ASAP.....I'm just so sick of this crap...I even went on ebay~~~nothing...to bad I didn't need a starter because there are a million of those on there...

 

Id try Polaris of Memphis. I ordered one for a buddy about a month ago with no problem. They have a REAL good inventory. And when they send it, its rite.

 

The 2000's have the flat fan and motor unit, is that right?

 

I looked on ronnies and it takes the same kind I have. I have a fan and motor that I am not going to use.
