Default 2005 DS 650 - Baja X

Hey all,

New to the forums here, but I had to drop a line and what not.

I picked up my new baja-x on Wednesday from the delearship, I had it ordered in since there were none around.

Took it out in a field for a quick rip, took a while to find a spot that wasn't a complete mud bog, and I was pretty impressed by the overall handling and power.

I will get it out more in the coming weeks, on some sand and jumps. My buddies should have their new units in soon, no sport quads for them, but we should be able to get some good ride time.

From one Canadian to another, welcome to the forum. I moved to Nevada 2 years ago and bought my DS last November. I am the only one in my riding group with a sport machine so I spend alot of time perfecting doughnuts while i wait for them to catch up! Enjoy your new toy!

Welcome to the forum sfooz32. Have you got any pics of the 2005 Baja X?

I will try to grab some pics tommorrow, just got back from ripping some more dirt, trying to get the easy going hours out of the way so I can start banging on it.

The 2005 looks a lot like the 2004 pics on the web, with a small color scheme change. Not sure about any dimension changes or anything like that, all I got was two videos to watch with it, no manual. I might have to go back and check if I was suppose to get a manual.

That was the standard DS, not the Baja X.

Posted up some pics in my gallery, might take a bit to come through, but they should be there soon.

Sorry I didn't wash it first, just some minor dirt and what not so you all know I don't drive it on pavement

Enjoy
